This comprehensive course consolidates Super User and End User education content.  Participants will learn how to operate, perform quality assurance and perform as needed maintenance on the epoc system.

At the end of the session, the participant will be able to:

  • Use the epoc Host Quick Start Guide to connect to a Wi-Fi network
  • Use the epoc Host Quick Start Guide to configure Data Manager options
  • Choose Administrator options
  • Identify major components and functions of the epoc system
  • Use the epoc system to process a sample
  • Review Electronic Quality Control (EQC)
  • Use the Host to perform Thermal Quality Assurance
  • Use the epoc system to perform external quality control
  • Discuss as needed maintenance
  • Discuss troubleshooting the epoc system

This 4-hour instructor-led virtual training covers the fundamental functions and operations of the POCcelerator Data Management System. Users will have the opportunity to learn about the software in a virtual environment with hands on guidance.

At the end of the session, the participant will be able to:

  • List the steps to log on and off the software
  • Describe and navigate POCcelerator menu bar and screens
  • Search for result records in the Result Monitor
  • Transfer erroneous patient results manually to the LIS
  • Analyze QC results on the QC chart screen
