The epoc Blood Analysis System with NXS Host End User Routine Operations Virtual Training is designed for users who will be responsible for performing routine operations on the epoc system.

Duration: 1.5 hours

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  • Identify major hardware components of the epoc system
  • Identify major software functions of the epoc system
  • Use the NXS Host to login to the epoc application
  • Use the Reader to insert a Test Card
  • Use the NXS Host to enter test information
  • Use a syringe to inject a sample
  • Use a Care-Fill™ capillary tube to inject a sample
  • Review test results
  • Review Electronic Quality Control (EQC)
  • Discuss troubleshooting common result errors
  • Discuss troubleshooting common hardware errors

PLEASE NOTE:  This course is designed for participants that have less than 3 months of hands-on experience with POCcelerator Data Management System.

Duration: 4 hours

At the end of the session, the participant will be able to:

• Differentiate between POCcelerator Client and POCWeb
• List the steps to log on and off the POCcelerator Client software
• Describe and navigate POCcelerator Client menu bar and screens
• Recognize and explain the POCcelerator Client status bar
• Summarize how to review and resolve patient result status
• Correct errors via the error log and patient record validation window
• Transfer erroneous patient results manually to the LIS
• Analyze QC Results on the QC Chart Screen
